Comparing Map scores

This page allows you to compare MAP test scores of Missouri schools. The data is taken from http://www.dese.mo.gov/schooldata/.

To calculate state and district averages I take the total count of reportable students for each shool, multiply it by that schools MAP percentage, add up each school, then divide by the total count of reportable students for the state and district.

The program is still Beta, so it may have some quirks and shouldn't be considered a 100% reliable source. When the results page comes up, I do provide a link to each school map score page on the Missouri Dept. of Education website. You can go there to verify the results.

This program allows you to view/compare up to 4 schools. First select the MAP test content area, then grade level(s). To find your school, first select your school district from the drop down. A second dropdown should appear that will list the schools in that district, then pick your school from that list. You may repeat this and pick up to four schools. Once you have your schools, press the "Show Map Results" button.
